Dominican Spanish is a rich blend that resulted from a long chain of events starting when the Spanish conquistadores arrived in the island, back in 1492. The sources listed in the page seem to be the best ones to use as a reference for slang words that Dominicanos use in their everyday lives. SLS is working on improving the online databank of information related to Dominican Spanish and its influence, from an academic point of view.
